Our Client a Tourism body in Canberra aimed at increasing awareness of the destination products and experiences in the area, are seeking a switched on go-getter to join their fun team.

This is an autonomous role, overseeing one other team member, dealing direct with editors and working toward hard deadlines, would suit an ex-Journalist type. 

Whilst this is working within the Travel industry, a commercial person with knowledge of world media, will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will come from a journalism or media background, have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, impeccable organisational and time management skills.  A degree in journalism, communications or public relations and relevant work experience will be highly regarded.  A Drivers’ Licence is essential.
